Welder
Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Welder to join our team working on an infrastructure project.
This role involves carrying out welding works on site only, supporting the installation and repair of structural and geotechnical systems. No fabrication or rope access is required.
The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to deliver high-quality welding in a site-based environment.
Responsibilities
Carry out welding works on structural and geotechnical elements in line with project specifications
Perform welding on materials such as structural steel and associated components
Work safely and efficiently on active construction and infrastructure sites
Follow method statements, drawings, and supervisor instructions
Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship across all welding activities
Conduct visual inspections of welds and report any defects
Maintain a clean and safe working area in line with company health & safety procedures
Assist site teams with general works where required
Experience
Proven experience in welding (MIG, TIG, or MMA)
Experience working in a site-based environment (construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, etc.)
Ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds
Good understanding of site health & safety requirements
Ability to follow drawings and technical instructions
Full UK driving licence (preferred)
